Methods for calibrating the temperature and pressure of a desktop sterilizer
This is the title h1 placeholder text
Summary: The principle of a tabletop sterilizer is that in a sealed steamer, steam cannot escape, and the pressure continuously rises, causing the boiling point of water to continuously increase, and the temperature inside the pot to increase accordingly. At a pressure of 0.1 MPa, the temperature inside the pot reaches 121 ℃. At this steam temperature, various bacteria and their highly heat-resistant principles can be quickly killed.
The principle of a tabletop sterilizer is that in a sealed steamer, steam cannot escape, pressure continuously increases, causing the boiling point of water to continuously increase, and the temperature inside the pot also increases accordingly. At a pressure of 0.1 MPa, the temperature inside the pot reaches 121 ℃. At this steam temperature, various bacteria and their highly heat-resistant principles can be quickly killed.
Place the temperature sensor in the center of the tabletop sterilizer to be calibrated and allow the tabletop sterilizer to undergo a complete sterilization process. During the heating process, pay attention to completely evacuating the air in the chamber of the tabletop sterilizer. After reaching the sterilization temperature, test one set of data every 2 minutes for 30 minutes, obtaining 15 sets of data. Temperature fluctuation is the maximum value of the actual measured temperature minus the minimum value of the actual temperature, divided by 2, and marked with "±". GB/T30690-2014 proposes that in the sterilization cycle, the measured value of the sterilization temperature range is generally no more than 3 ℃ higher than the set value, and the pressure range should correspond to the measured temperature range. At the same time, the measurement uncertainty should be less than one-fifth to one-third of the allowable display error of the device under test, i.e., 0.6~1.0 ℃. Common calibration methods for tabletop sterilizer temperature and pressure are as follows:
Method 1: Calibration method of wireless temperature and pressure data acquisition
The wireless temperature, humidity, and pressure data acquisition device records the temperature, humidity, and pressure data collected by the sensor on the acquisition device. Before the test, the wireless temperature and pressure data acquisition device sets the corresponding program and places the acquisition device in the center of the sterilization chamber for calibration. After the test, the recorded data is read through a signal converter and software. This calibration method, because it does not introduce external connections, the sterilizer chamber is completely sealed, ensuring data reliability. The device can directly measure the actual pressure value in the sterilizer chamber, but the initial cost of the device is hundreds of thousands of yuan, and the lifespan of the device and data reading, real-time monitoring data analysis, requires more money. Therefore, this device has not yet been widely promoted among grassroots metrology calibration institutions and sterilizer users.
Method 2: Thermocouple calibration
A thermocouple is a commonly used temperature measuring sensor. Before the experiment, a thin T-type thermocouple is used. One end is placed in the center of the high-pressure steam sterilizer chamber, covering the high-pressure steam sterilizer, and making it as airtight as possible. The high-pressure steam sterilizer starts to work, and a small amount of steam overflows through the thermocouple outlet, but the high-pressure steam sterilizer can still continue to heat up. During the heating process, the air in the chamber of the tabletop sterilizer is completely discharged. When the tabletop sterilizer is in the sterilization state, the temperature data is collected by the data acquisition device. Due to the introduction of the thermocouple, there will always be leaks during the entire sterilization process, which will affect the test results to a certain extent.
